In 2020, we were able to acquire a small parcel of land in Jacmel, Haiti. Jacmel is located on the southern coast of Haiti. We have already gifted a small section to a local family. They were excited to receive it. They look forward to beginning the planning process and hopefully building their own home on it someday.
That "Someday" is here. On November 6, 2022 we launched a GoFundMe site to raise monies to make this dream a reality. You can partner by using the GoFund Me site at:

Sister Duc lives in a small two room home, with her son, on a steep hillside, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, When we met Sister Duc her home was only accessible by a very steep, slick, limestone trail. Her cooking area consisted of a tarp covered open fire on the ground. She was neither able to navigate the trail down or get down on the ground to cook at her fire.
Partnering with people just like you, we were able to build her a small block kitchen, an outhouse, and terraced stairs to reach her home.
Sister Duc has limited mobilty due to an untreated broken leg. ImpactOne Missions is honored to be able to provide her with food and in-home care on a monthly basis. If you would like to partner with us in this mission for Sister Duc, send us an email so we can let you know what additional needs she has.
We met Sister Marianne on our first mission experience in Haiti just after the devastating earthquake in January 2010. At that time Marianne was living with her granddaughter in a very small hut made of banana leaves. Their home had been completely lost in the earthquake. Another organization was just beginning the process to build a small one room home, large enough for a kitchen area and their beds. ImpactOne was able to add a second room to her home which included an indoor bathroom and exterior water cistern. Beds, linens, towels and kitchen items were also provided to them. Sister Marianne has no stable source of income. Sister Marianne is currently not supported and receives no continual assistance. Contact us and let us know if you can help.
Electricity in Haiti is both expensive and unreliable. Through the generous gifts of our partners we were able to install small self contained solar lighting systems in several houses in Haiti. These systems provide no cost, reliable lighting for several families. Neighborhood kids helped with the install and many times we had an extra 10-20 hands assisting us. This was a fun project and we are looking forward to doing it again in the future.
We seek to demonstrate Christ's love by mobilizing individuals to respond to the needs of individuals and communities affected by poverty, natural disaster or misfortune, both here at home and abroad, by providing spiritual, educational and material support.
Our passion for "mission" work began with several short relief missions to the Gulf states after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Since then we have been involved in relief and mission work in Nicaragua and Haiti. After responding to Haiti in 2010, we fell in love with the people and really felt called to serve this country.
In 2012, we established a 501c3 organization so that we could better serve and support those projects that we were passionate for. We are always looking for new opportunities and will oftentimes "piggyback" with other relief organizations to complete our mission. For us, it's not about getting credit but rather what makes sense to complete the mission.
We found that when we first began looking for ways to help the task oftentimes seemed daunting and overwhelming. We quickly learned we weren't there to hit the "home run" but rather we needed to look for "base hits." Thus, we focused on many smaller projects. While we couldn't meet everyone's needs we could help some. We learned that if we kept our eyes and hearts open, the needs will present themselves. The slogan below was born out of this philosophy:
Across the street
Across the world
Not everyone everywhere
Just someone somewhere
We strive to be accountable with every gift and pledge that we receive.
100% of your gift will be given to the project or need that it was gifted for. Our donors are always welcome, and encouraged, to request where and how their gifts were used.
...and improve the lives of others. Your generous donation will fund these mission opportunities. 100% of your gift will go toward the project you choose.
Giving is contagious so please share ImpactOne Missions with your friends and family and join us on the mission field.
“Not everyone everywhere, just someone somewhere”
