First of all, thank you for taking the time to visit this site. I first became involved in mission type work in 2005, when I travelled to Louisiana to help provide relief aid for those impacted by Hurricane Katrina. I didn’t really know what to expect or really what good I could do but I had the desire to at least try and do something. After several trips to Louisiana, I ventured to Nicaragua . In 2010 Estelle and I lead relief teams to Haiti to provide assistance after a major earthquake.
The need is great everywhere and I found myself frustrated as to how I could help fix it all. I quickly learned that I can't fix it all but that I could look for small opportunities to help someone. Maybe something as simple as providing food for one day. In 2012, we started a non profit organization to better help us meet our mission goals. Impactone Missions operates under this non profit organization.
Since then we have been able to provide assistance and support to many folks. I learned that a lot of folks want to help in some way but really don't want or can't travel to personally provide this help. We utilize Impactone Missions as a conduit to connect folks, sponsors or donors, with those who need assistance. I am always amazed at how many people are willing to help folks they have never met. Most folks just merely need to be made aware of this need.
As I continue this journey, I really feel called to support widows, orphans and those folks with disabilities. As I continue forward much of my energy will be focused in this direction, but I still believe almost any idea to help someone is a good one. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.

With the beautiful Northwest as our backdrop, Mark, my wonderful husband of 28 years, and I have had the incredible experience of raising two children. Now, I enjoy the grand parenting role with our three grandchildren. The wonderful relationships we have built in our small town community, gardening on our farm, and artwork capture my spare time.
God has blessed us immeasurably over these 28 years, and out of those blessings our love for short term missions was born. We have had the remarkable opportunity to serve here in the US, as well as in Nicaragua and Haiti. The warmth and love of the people of Haiti has truly stolen our hearts and captured our focus, creating ImpactOne Missions, and birthing the heart of our mission that though we can’t help everyone everywhere, we can help someone somewhere.
“Across the street or around the world, not everyone everywhere, just someone somewhere”.
